(Ralph)
I first hid in the thicket. I was hiding from Jack and the hunters because they were trying to kill me. I am so terrified that I am going to die. They are throwing spears and throwing big boulders at the thicket. Samneric joined Jack's tribe because they were terrified of Jack and they didn't want to be tied up and beat up. In order to get me out of the thicket they had to light the thicket on fire. This is good because in the smoke they can't see me but its also hard to breathe. When they were about to kill me I ran to the beach and saw the naval officer. The naval officer doesn't know what the heck is going and the island is on fire. There are little boys and bigger boys chasing me. Jack stepped out and looked like a little boy. Percival stepped forward and couldn't even say his name because he couldn't believe how much he changed while on the island. I took responsibility of the boys on the island so when the naval officer asked who was the leader, I said it was me. The naval officer is disappointed in us because were boys from England and he was surprised these boys would act like that.

Blog 8: Gift for the Darkness And Blog 9: A View To Death
The scene where the Lord of the Flies talks to Simon and threatens him is the most terrifying. In the scene the lord of the flies is talking to Simon and he is saying that if he doesn't let them have fun on the island then he foreshadows that all the boys on the island are going to kill him. When the lord of the flies says he wants them to have fun he means that he doesn't want him to tell the other boys that there isn't a beast because he wants them to be afraid. This is the most terrifying because its a pig head talking to a person.
The person that is responsible for Simon's death is mostly Jack. However, all of the boys chimed in. Its mostly Jack's fault because he said Simon was the beastie in disguise. If Jack wouldn't have said this maybe they would have given Simon a chance to talk. I think that if Jack would not have encouraged the other boys Simon would still be alive. Its Jacks fault that Simon died if he never made the boys crazy and vicious this wound not have happen.

Blog 5: Beast from the Water
Ralph called an assembly today about the new rules. The new rules are to go to the bathroom in the place where the ocean washes everything away. We also need to make sure there is drinking water in the coconuts. We also need to keep the signal fire going. I like the rules because they are going to help us to be civilized. Things are falling apart because the boys aren't listening to the rules. The littuns are still goofing off. I think the littluns cry in their sleep because they are dreaming about the beastie. I don't think the beastie is real. Percival Wemys Madison is that the beastie is coming from the water. I think thats totally ridiculous and not true.
I think the worst part of human nature is that theres always a good side of people and a bad side of people. I think people are getting competitive over who is boss. This is bad because they're going to end up fighting a lot more and its going to be more difficult to live. This could happen with Ralph and Jack.
If I was the leader of the boys I don't really think that would work because Jack is really bossy and I don't think he would get along. He could probably hurt me because hes the only one with a knife.

Blog 4: Painted Faces and Long Hair
Some things I am having trouble adjusting to on the island are having to hunt for our own food, build our own shelter and always make the signal fire is going. The hardest one for me is building the shelter because at first they all helped but then it was just a few of us. The littluns aren't very helpful with hunting and keeping the fire going. They just sit around eating fruit all day and playing in the sand. Everyone paints their faces because we're going on a hunt and they want to camouflage themselves so the pig doesn't seem them. All of the hunters and Samneric go the hunt. Because Samneric go on the hunt the signal fire burns out. I got upset because Jack should have left Samneric to keep the fire going. If Samneric had stayed then maybe we could have gotten rescued when I saw the ship go by. This makes me so upset because we might not get that chance again. In order to take charge of the boys again I called an assembly by blowing the conch. When I blew the conch the boys came and we talked about what happened when Samneric left the fire to go with Jack. I don't fee like hunting is the most important thing right now. The signal fire is the most important thing on the island because its our only chance of getting rescued.
Blog 2: Fire on the Mountain
I think this is a bad island because Piggy says no one knows where this island is located at. He pointed out that we might be on this island for a while. This makes me feel scared. I'm scared also because there are no adults on the island and the thought of being on this island forever terrifies me. Everyone keeps talking about the beastie. The littluns think its a big beast and the older boys think that its nonsense. I don't know what to think. The beast symbolizes evil and darkness. I feel that it scary to live on an island with a beast and no adults. Our plan to be rescued is to have a signal fire. A signal fire is where you put a lot of wood in a fire on top of a mountain so it can be seen from far away by planes and ships. It makes a lot of smoke so people can see it. We started the fire by lighting it with Piggy's glasses. The only problem is the fire gets out of control. It burns down like half the island and the kid with the mulberry birthmark died.
I am very nervous because there are a lot of things in my head when I go to bed. I think about never being rescued or being eaten by the beastie or dying of starvation. I want to go home.

Dear Diary,
We were are stuck on this island and I'm really freaked out. I am on an island with a boy named ralph that I don't even know! How am i going to survive? I'm really hungry, I havent eaten for a few hours! I can't find any food to eat! I miss my Auntie back at home and I don't know what I am going to do without her! This island looks neat. It has pink granite and then theres a lagoon. The forest looks scary and the mountain looks like a monster. We were in a plane and it got shot down because were in the middle of a war. So far I have met this boy named Ralph. He doesn't really care that hes on this island and he doesn't seem to really care about me. I told him I don't like to be called Piggy because it reminds me of my old school where everyone used to call me names. He told the other boys that my name was Piggy. I was sad and mad at Ralph because he told the other boys to call me Piggy and I really don't like to be called Piggy! There are no other adults on the island because the pilots are dead and there were no other adults on the plane because they were moving kids away from the war. We found this conch shell and it looks pretty cool. I gave it to Ralph and said that when someone is holding the conch thats the only person who can talk. Blog 7: Shadows and Tall Trees
Today Ralph hit a boar with his spear but he didn't even kill it. Ralph is such a big loser because he can't kill anything. I could have done that blind folded! I cannot believe he didn't kill the boar. I can't believe he was excited for hitting a boar with a spear when he didn't even kill it.
We played a game where we poked Roger with the butt end of a stick. We were pretending he was the pig and we were the hunters. It was pretty awesome that we got to poke Roger with the stick. I think its really good practice to hit him with the stick so next time we see a pig we can kill it instantly. When I suggests that a littlun dresses up as a pig and we poke him thats going to foreshadow someone dying. I think its a good idea to use a littlun because ya I don't care and they don't help at all.
Today we saw the beast. Some people said that it was a dead aviator. I know thats all wrong because I know what I saw and that was the beast, not no dead aviator!
I don't like Ralph because he thinks hes all that and he thinks hes boss of everybody. hes such a loser because he can't even kill a pig and ya. I don't feel like talking to him because were always disagreeing on things. We couldn't agree on the huts, and the only thing we agree on is me being leader of the hunters!

Castle Rock
1.In the beginning of chapter 11 piggy tells Ralph to blow the conch for an assembly.
2.Piggy says to jack that he cant see anything and that he really needs his glasses.
3.Ralph says that hes still the leader of the tribe and that hes still chief of the boys.
4. When Ralph and piggy are walking to castle rock jack and the hunters come out the forest and Ralph and jack fight .
5. Jack and the hunters was dragging a dead pig out of the forest.
6. Ralph called Jack a theif because he took piggys glasses with out asking.
7.Sam and Eric get captured by Jack and the hunters.
8.Roger was getting ready to fire the boulder.
9. It was Rogers fault for piggy's death because he is the one that put all hes weight on the lever and made it hit piggy.

Dear Diary,
Im so mad right now because they killed me for no apparent reason! All I was trying to do was tell the boys there was no beast! I didn't know Ralph and Piggy would do such a thing! I expected this from Jack but its still not right. I'm mad at all of the boys because they were doing their stupid dance and they should have given me a chance to speak. But instead they viciously killed me. They ripped me apart with their hands and teeth and disgustingly destroyed me.
I agree with Ralph that it was murder, but Piggy says that it was all an accident. I don't believe its an accident because they didn't even give me a chance to speak. Jack doesn't even know what hes talking about when he says I was the beast. This gets me mad because thats nonsense.
I am sooo frustrated with Jack because he should have just stayed with Ralph instead of making his own tribe. If he had just listened to Ralph this never would have happened. I don't think that when Jack ties up Maurice and beats him up its not right and it just makes them scared of him, it doesn't really make them listen.

Beast From The Air
Dear Diary,
Today a dead pilot fell from the sky and it was really frighting. We weren't aware of what happened because we are trying to survive and we forgot that war world two was happening. I think that Sam and Eric were so terrified because I don't think that they thought that something like that would happen. Today when they came back they also said that the beast was chasing them and they said it was big,with claws, and wings. Well Jack and Ralph are fighting and jack is saying that we should go out and look for it and kill it, but Ralph says to plan what we are doing and be smart about it. I think there might be a beast but I think that Sam and Eric were exaggerating.
