The sound of the shell

Dear Diary,
We were are stuck on this island and I'm really freaked out. I am on an island with a boy named ralph that I don't even know! How am i going to survive? I'm really hungry, I havent eaten for a few hours! I can't find any food to eat! I miss my Auntie back at home and I don't know what I am going to do without her! This island looks neat. It has pink granite and then theres a lagoon. The forest looks scary and the mountain looks like a monster. We were in a plane and it got shot down because were in the middle of a war. So far I have met this boy named Ralph. He doesn't really care that hes on this island and he doesn't seem to really care about me. I told him I don't like to be called Piggy because it reminds me of my old school where everyone used to call me names. He told the other boys that my name was Piggy. I was sad and mad at Ralph because he told the other boys to call me Piggy and I really don't like to be called Piggy! There are no other adults on the island because the pilots are dead and there were no other adults on the plane because they were moving kids away from the war. We found this conch shell and it looks pretty cool. I gave it to Ralph and said that when someone is holding the conch thats the only person who can talk. I think this is a good idea because things would be more organized on the island and go more smoothly. Everyone seems to be nice on the island. There are a group of choir boys and their job is to keep the fire going. I want the leader to be Ralph because he seems nicer than Jack. I think he would be a better leader than Jack.
